We're a team of people who wear glasses. After working for larger, high-end optical companies, we became frustrated with the prevalence of low-quality lenses sold through large optical chains.

Despite the common perception that lenses are identical, our 40 years of combined industry experience has motivated us to provide top-of-the-market lenses to those who want to pay lower-end-of-the-market prices.

The smudge test; after working in the optical industry for so many years and engaging in countless conversations with friends, family, and people we'd meet, we were frequently asked, 'Why are frame and lens packages so much cheaper in the larger optical chains than in independent optical practices?' The answer was simple: 'Put your thumb on your lenses and then put your thumb on mine.' This simple test made it all very clear to them - well, maybe not so clear through their lenses!
